What a mobile notary actually does
A notary public is a state-commissioned witness. Our job is to confirm you are who you say you are, confirm you are signing willingly and knowingly, and then attach a seal and a signed certificate that makes that verification part of the permanent record of the document.
A mobile notary does the identical job with identical legal weight — the only difference is that the notary travels. There is no such thing as a "lesser" notarisation because it happened at your dining table. The seal is the same seal.

When travelling to you is the whole point

What we cannot do — and why that protects you
A Florida notary cannot tell you what to write, cannot advise you on which form to use, and cannot notarise a signature for a person who is not physically present and lucid. If someone offers to do any of those things, that is not flexibility, it is a defective notarisation that a court can set aside later.
If your document is incomplete or is the wrong instrument for what you are trying to do, we will tell you before we seal it — and we will tell you plainly that you need an attorney, not a notary.

About mobile notary
How much does a mobile notary cost in Fort Myers?
Florida law caps the notarial act at $10 per signature notarised. A mobile notary may also charge a travel fee, which Florida does not cap but does require to be disclosed and agreed in advance. We quote the full amount — act plus travel — before we get in the car, so the number you hear on the phone is the number you pay.
Do you come to me the same day?
Usually, yes. Same-day availability depends on where you are and how the day is already booked. Call rather than email if you need it today — we hold slots for same-day work and email is the slower path.
What ID do I need?
A current, government-issued photo ID: Florida driver licence, state ID card, US passport, military ID, or an out-of-state licence. It must be unexpired, and it must not be a photocopy or a photo on your phone. If you have no ID at all, Florida allows identification by credible witness — call us and we will walk you through what that requires.
Can you notarise a document that is already signed?
No. The whole point of the notarisation is that we witness the signature. If you have already signed, you sign again in front of us — on a fresh copy if the document does not have room. This is not a technicality we could waive if we wanted to; a notarisation of a signature we did not witness is invalid.
